Mapping The Outdoors has been in business for over 5 years now. Previously our maps were only available for purchase through trade shows and mail order. In the Spring of 2006 our mapping services were made available online, which will allow users to set up, view, and order their maps using a secure mapping application.

Shane McDermott is the sole Owner of Mapping The Outdoors, having purchased the remainder of the company in early 2008. We are located in Quincy, Illinois, yet we provide our mapping services throughout the United States.

Mapping the Outdoors is a company committed to providing truly innovative maps for our customers. Aerial Topo, a revolutionary mapping product combines aerial photography with topographic maps, to identify prime locations for hunting, fishing, hiking, biking, walking, camping and many other outdoor activities.

This product provides the "best of both worlds" by offering one map with both features at the same scale. In the past, two maps on separate media at different scales would have been required. For more information and examples, please contact us.
